Adriana arrives in Rome from the countryside and tries to break into the world of film.  In the meantime, she adapts to many different jobs and has a series of relationships with men that take advantage of her naivete`. She doesn't lose heart, however and after receiving a small part in a film, she is interviewed by a television show that promises to air it.  However, the true intention for taping the interview is very different.  At the height of his important, if brief, film career, Pietrangeli uses a bold, narrative structure.  The sequence unravels, capturing brief moments of Adriana's life and connecting them, thanks to the visual elements that refer to other episodes.  With Nino Manfredi, Mario Adorf, Enrico Maria Salerno, Ugo Tognazzi, and Stefania Sandrelli.Click here to RSVP
