Award for Italian researchers and startuppers operating abroad

Call for applications

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has instituted the second annual Award for Italian researchers and startuppers operating abroad.

The award includes two categories:

The “Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award” to recognize an eminent Italian scientist who, in performing his/her research abroad, has made a remarkable contribution to the advancement of science and technology, thus improving Italy’s S&T relations with foreign countries and International Organizations;

The "Innovation that speaks Italian” award to recognize the highly innovative value of technology Startups, operating abroad and founded by Italian citizens.

The deadline for applications is October 30, 2017.

The award, which consists of a medal and a diploma from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will be given in Rome, Italy, on February 5, 2018 during the Conference of Italian Scientific Attachés.

ITALIAN COUNCIL PROJECT:
Public Notice for the financing of cultural projects finalized to promotoion, production, knowledge, distribution of italian contemporary creation in Italy and abroad in the visual arts field.

The MIBACT launched the first announcement of the Italian Council to support the creation of contemporary Italian art in the field of visual arts.
Through this project, the General Direction will provide 450,000 euros for artistic projects proposed by museums, public or private non-profit organizations, colleges, foundations and cultural associations, with particular attention to initiatives presented by international cultural institutions.
The aim is to create the first major public promoter for the enhancement of contemporary italian art in the world, promoting synergies with major museums and important international foundations.

Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award - Call for nominations

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has established the “Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award” to recognize an eminent Italian scientist who, in performing his/her research abroad, has made a remarkable contribution to the advancement of science and technology, thus improving Italy’s S&T relations with foreign countries and with International Organizations.

The award will be presented during the Italian Scientific Attachés Conference to be held in Rome, Italy, on January 10, 2017. All fields of science and technology are included in this award. The award consists of an engraved medal and a certificate from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The deadline for nominations is October 16, 2016.

“Innovation that Speaks Italian" award  -  Italian Technology Startups Operating Abroad  -  Call for applications

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and PNICube, the Italian Association of University Incubators and Local Business Plan Competition, has established the "Innovation that speaks Italian” award to recognize the highly innovative value of Technology Startups, founded by Italian citizens, operating abroad.

The award, which consists of a medal and a diploma from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will be presented to the winning startup during the Conference of Scientific Attachés in Rome, Italy, in January 10, 2017 in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Paolo Gentiloni, and the Minister of Education, University and Research, Stefania Giannini.

The deadline for applications is October 16, 2016.
