Condizioni generali

Ogni anno scuole e centri linguistici offrono borse di studio per studiare l’italiano in Italia tramite l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Chicago.
Le borse consistono nell’iscrizione gratuita o nella riduzione nei costi di iscrizione presso scuole, accademie e centri che insegnano l’Italiano a stranieri in Italia.
Gli studenti sono pregati di visitare il sito web delle scuole per ottenere tutte le informazioni utili sui corsi e sui servizi offerti.

Limitazioni

Per fare domanda per le suddette borse, i candidati devono risiedere nell'area di competenza dell'Istituto, vale a dire: Colorado, Illlinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Wyoming. 
I candidati sono pregati di visitare il sito web delle scuole per ottenere tutte le informazioni utili sui corsi e sui servizi offerti.

Spese di viaggio e di soggiorno

Le spese di viaggio e soggiorno sono a carico degli assegnatari che, se lo desiderano, verranno assistiti in loco per trovare alloggio adeguato dalle stesse scuole, accademie e centri che offrono la borsa.

Comunicazioni con i centri in Italia

Tutte le comunicazioni ed i rapporti si svolgeranno esclusivamente tra lo studente assegnatario della borsa ed il centro che la offre, senza l'intermediazione dell'Istituto.

Come e quando fare domanda 

È possibile fare domanda entro e non oltre 60 giorni dalla data di inizio del corso che si desidera frequentare in Italia. La domanda, completa di richiesta scritta, curriculum vitae e possibilmente una lettera di raccomandazione da parte di docenti o autorità accademiche, va presentata all'Istituto Italiano di Cultura al seguente indirizzo:

Criteri e tempi di assegnazione

Avranno priorità gli insegnanti d'italiano e gli studenti di lingua e cultura italiana, come pure quanti siano interessati allo studio dell'italiano a fini professionali e culturali. Tutte le borse vengono assegnate esclusivamente in base a criteri di merito. 
Dopo circa quindici giorni lo studente riceverà informazioni sull’esito positivo o negativo della domanda di borsa.

Avvertenze

L’Istituto Italiano di Cultura non si assume alcuna responsabilità in merito alla qualità dei corsi e dei servizi offerti dal centro presso cui gli studenti usufruiranno della borsa loro assegnata.
L'Istituto chiede agli studenti di scrivere un rapporto finale sull'esperienza trascorsa in Italia, valutando tutti gli aspetti didattici ed organizzativi del centro presso cui hanno usufruito della borsa di studio.
